The Eighth Day Assembly

A solemn assembly concluding the Tabernacles season.

An “eighth day” solemn assembly is commanded after the days of Tabernacles. It functions as a concluding holy convocation, giving a defined finish to the festival cycle rather than an open-ended feast.

Scripture

Leviticus 23:36

36 Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh. On the eighth day shall be a holy convocation to you; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh. It is a solemn assembly; you shall do no regular work.
